RIS3 – Aid for the development of young innovative technology-based companies (Startups) and SMEs with a high intensity of innovation

"Subsidies to finance the creation, start-up and consolidation of new and young innovative technology-based companies (Start-up's and NTBF's) and the growth of SMEs with a high intensity of innovation, in innovative business activities that require the use of technologies and/or knowledge developed from research activity or knowledge generated by research organizations domiciled in the Community of Madrid and/or in the market, and in which the business strategy is based on the development and intensive use of technology. Beneficiaries: New innovative technology-based companies with less than one year of experience, young innovative technology-based companies with more than one year and less than five years of experience and SMEs with a high innovative intensity of more than five years and less than fifteen years of seniority, who, in addition to meeting the requirements set forth in the regulations, regularly carry out an economic activity aimed at the market, and have their fiscal residence and, at least, one work center in the Community of Madrid from which they carry out or plan to carry out the subsidized activities. Endowment: €4,250,000 Type of aid: Non-refundable grant. Intensity: Creation and start-up of new innovative technology-based companies (companies less than a year old): €60,000/project. Growth of innovative technology-based companies (companies with more than 1 year of activity and less than 5 years of activity): Up to 50% of eligible expenses. max. €125,000. High intensity innovative SMEs: Between 35 and 70% of eligible costs. max. €250,000."
