Taking place on the 26th of June from 16:30 to 18:00 pm, Brussels time, this conference marks the culmination of the AspBAN project. It serves as a platform to share the project’s achievements, outcomes, and the positive impact it has had on EU Atlantic ports and the broader blue economy sector.

During the event, participants will have the opportunity to delve into the results and successes of the AspBAN project. The focus will be on showcasing how it has empowered EU Atlantic ports to transform into thriving blue economy hubs. Through Acceleration Services and the Open Innovation program, these ports have diversified their revenue sources and contributed to a sustainable maritime economy.

The Final Conference also aims to foster collaboration, synergies, and complementarities in policies and funding instruments. It provides a unique platform for stakeholders from diverse backgrounds to come together, exchange ideas, and explore future opportunities for cooperation.

With the support of 123 strategic partners and 391 ports, including EU Atlantic, Norway, USA, Canada, Colombia, Morocco, Mauritania, India (Goa), and China (Macau), AspBAN has built a strong and representative network. The involvement of these partners demonstrates the project’s relevance and its potential for replication in other regions.

As the project draws to a close, the Final Conference stands as a testament to the hard work, dedication, and innovative spirit of all those involved in the AspBAN project. It celebrates the journey undertaken and sets the stage for continued collaboration in driving the sustainable development of the Blue Economy.
